Avesomeofthat has shown improved form since being switched to fences and is taken to follow up his recent Newton Abbot success, getting the vote ahead of Rapide Plaisir and Alrafid. The last mentioned was well held in a an admittedly better race than this at Cheltenham when last seen in April and would have claims on his reappearance if fit enough for his return to action. Golly has been thereabouts in recent starts but may have to settle for minor honours again, while Smoke Trail is probably best watched on his reappearance. Richard Lee's Rapide Plaisir has been given a decent break since falling when last seen and could be of interest but Avesomeofthat has solid claims and he is preferred.
