A repeat of Toy Show's second to Doris Souter at Newbury last time would give her a good chance her and, with her young rider taking seven pounds off her back, she can land her second win of the season. Bally Hall looked progressive when winning at Brighton and Nottingham but has been a little disappointing since. However, a return to the earlier impression created would bring him right back into things. Bits of form would make The Local competitive, but the balance of his form is not great. Uncle Max's early-season form was creditable but, again, has something to prove now. Dancing Forest has won here on the all-weather from a higher mark but has shown little of late. He tries a step up in trip now. Private Benjamin seemed to show improvement when stepped up to this trip for the first time at Goodwood last time and has place claims. Overall, then, Toy Show gets the vote but, if allowed to dominate, Bally Hall rates a big danger.
