Plenty of unknown quantities in this so the betting market might provide some clues. Sweetest Revenge and Night Pearl have the best form of those to have raced, and the former is possibly the one to beat based on her Salisbury third to a well-regarded Mick Channon filly at Salisbury last time over a furlong shorter. Night Pearl was highly tried last time but comes into the reckoning based on a decent debut effort the time before. Of the newcomers, the ones to keep an eye on are Jeremy Noseda's Big Bad Burt, a 65,000 guineas purchase; Desperate Dan, a 40,000 guineas buy who is a son of the Australian sire Danzero, who is making a name for himself; Brian Meehan's 30,000 guineas purchase, First Note; James Fanshawe's 54,000 guineas buy, Royal Prince, and Philip Mitchell's 21,000 guineas acquisition, Dream Of Dubai. Once again, though, and unless the market tells a different story, we'll opt for Sweetest Revenge.
