        Verdict

        APPLE ANNI (NAP) has been racing in much better company since scoring at Beverley in September and is down to her lowest mark with her rider's claim to aid her cause. She can get back to winning ways. Rux Ruxx was making her handicap debut when third over 6f at Leicester and should improve but Gainsay, who won over the track and trip last month, looked as high as she would want to go in the ratings at Brighton last time. Hilight finished runner-up in that former event on this track though ran poorly when tackling a mile at Kempton but Lethal Angel has shown her liking for this trip and fast ground so should get into contention. Teenage Gal had a poor draw at Kempton last time and never really got involved but wasn't beaten far and can find a place on the podium.
