    Verdict

    DALSHAND had been running over shorter before returning to this trip at Thirsk and scoring with something in hand. He's up 5lb but will be difficult to beat now back in form and is Danny Tudhope's only ride of the meeting. Rainbow Rising has yet to win but showed his liking for this sort of trip at Kempton where he wasn't beaten far. Linguine has been racing over hurdles, though not very successfully, and it's a long time since he won on the Flat. Fitzwilly has managed to win six times on the level including over the course and distance last month. He's also won from a higher mark than this and with his rider's claim to aid his cause looks a major threat.
