Miss Mirage looks the answer to a tricky fillies handicap while Tyranny, Spinning Dove and Compton Emerald are others to consider. The Barry Hills-trained filly confirmed the promise of previous efforts when a convincing winner of a Ripon maiden last week and looks capable of following up off a fair mark on her handicap debut, particularly as he extra furlong should suit ideally. Tyranny has been knocking on the door in useful company of late so should make her presence felt at this level despite conceding plenty of weight while Spinning Dove shaped as though about to hit winning form last time and can't be ruled out with conviction. Compton Emerald boasts some respectable form as a juvenile and could go well if fit for her belated seasonal return but Miss Mirage has solid credentials and looks the one to beat.
