A low-grade handicap and the vote goes to No Refuge while Eoz, Beauchamp Rose and Bluegrass Beau are the alternatives. Sir Mark Prescott's charge showed little in sprint maidens as a juvenile and has started the current campaign on a lenient rating so it is no surprise that this late maturing type showed significant improvement, particularly for the step up to this trip in keeping with his breeding. The son of Hernando was an impressive five-length winner at Wolverhampton on his comeback before a staying-on third in a useful Newbury handicap next time off a 6lb higher mark so should give a good account at this level. Eoz ran in to a useful sort over an inadequate trip at Ripon last time but should prove more effective over this more suitable trip on her handicap debut while Bluegrass Beau was a little disappointing last time but has claims on the pick of his form. Beauchamp Rose has been knocking on the door and is another who could improve for the step up in distance but No Refuge looks the safest choice.
