In depth

Verdict

Bettys Pride was comfortably ahead of Come Away With me at Newcastle nine days ago and a repeat dose of that form will be good enough to see her home tonight. Dance To The Blues is also worth a mention after several near misses and she will be a live danger if the ground, as expected, stays on the firm side. Redwood Star has never been the most straightforward of characters but does not have much to find to get competitive in this company. Jamie Spencer takes over the riding duties here and she should again run her race. Come Away With Me is open to improvement and can surely win a race off her current mark. However, she was no match for Bettys Pride last week and, with that form looking a solid guideline, Michael Dodd's charge gets the nod tonight.
