      Verdict

Halcyon Magic is taken to follow up his recent victory, with Iamback, Levantine and Pyrrhic seen as the main dangers. Halcyon Magic had been placed on a couple of occasions on the all-weather before finally getting his head in front from the fast-finishing Bobering at Wolverhampton last time. He was sent off favourite that day and despite having to concede weight all round, should make a bold bid to follow up with the blinkers on. Iamback was successful on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton last May and has posted two fair efforts back on Turf recently. Gay Kelleway's mare appears to be finding her form again and should make a race of it with the selection. Levantine ran out of steam over the course and distance last time and cannot be relied upon totally, while Pyrrhic does at least know this track backwards but is still a maiden after 21 career starts. The rest make no appeal at all, and Halcyon Magic has leading claims.
