Always Baileys, Ryedale Ovation and Glasshoughton are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Always Baileys. The selection is a well-bred colt by Mister Baileys and this newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard is sure to be popular with punters on his racecourse debut. The market will provide all the clues here but if the vibes from the ring are positive then it could pay to take the hint, especially as he has been given a real chance from his high draw. Ryedale Ovation was slowly away on his racecourse debut when finishing in mid-division behind Dusty City. However, he seemed to be getting the hang of things in the closing stages that day and as he is sure to come on for the run then he should go well. However, he looks to have plenty to do from his low draw. Glasshoughton is another newcomer who catches the eye on breeding, but his stable are not renowned for first time out 2-year-old winners and he may be best watched on his debut. A watching brief on the market is advised with regards to the chances of any of the other newcomers, but for the winner we return to Always Baileys who hails from a stable with a decent strike-rate in these type of events.
