Farnborough was only just touched off last time, and can make amends at the expense of Captain Cloudy, with Saucy, Tintawn Gold and Zinging all out to stop him. This promises to be a close call, but Farnborough caught the eye when just touched off by Another Con at Wolverhampton last time, and with a furlong extra likely to be in his favour, he gets the vote. He is still a maiden but has gone close on a number of occasions on the all-weather and can finally come good. Captain Cloudy was also just denied when beaten in a photo at Lingfield last time, and it has to be said that he was unlucky in running. The step back up to this trip will be in his favour today. Saucy overcame traffic problems when getting up to score at Brighton last time and is in more form than most, but has to give weight away all round. In addition he meets Tintawn Gold on six-pound worse terms for the head and short-head that separated them, and it would be no surprise in fact if the latter took a hand in the finish. Zinging was unlucky to be caught right on the line at Brighton last time, but that was over seven furlongs, and on breeding he will have trouble staying today's trip. Bobering finished fast when failing by a neck at Wolverhampton last time and is yet another to add to the equation, but we shall side with Farnborough.
