Verdict

KENT RAGSTONE has a nice middle-distance pedigree and cost 60,000gns. Despite running green on his debut in a maiden here last month, Willie Haggas' four-year-old won easily and is the type to go on to better things. He should prove too good for more experienced rivals in this with Where's Susie arguably his most interesting rival having started to drop down the weights. Thecornishcowboy has been a little below par lately but is another capable on his day while Tingo In The Tale's last win came over track and trip in December. Syncopate is lightly raced and could be suited by the step up to 1m4f so is preferred to If I Were A Boy of the others.
