      Verdict

      Mahadee is up 4lbs for winning a good race here last time, but that extra weight plus the drop in trip means that we will take him on today with ELNA BRIGHT, who loves it here, while Ishiadancer is of interest. The selection has won three of his last four, two of which were over course and distance, so he has his optimum trip and conditions today. He has been holding his form very well and with a nice enough draw towards the inside he might just be able to win a handicap from this rating of 94 for the first time. Ishiadancer easily beat Fazbee over this trip at Wolverhampton last time and has gone up 12lbs as a result. Her CV suggests that perhaps we should not get too carried away with the run and with the extra few pounds plus the need to prove herself here we will oppose. Seek The Fair Land is 9lbs higher than his best winning mark, but goes well here and comes to the race in good form, so he is respected, but preference is for Elna Bright.
