Most of these are old rivals but it will not be surprising to see Bahiano prevail over King's Caprice and Lygetton Lad in a race that looks set to go right down to the wire. Red Spell also has to be respected after his deserved victory here last week but he faces a stiff test on these terms. He now needs everything to drop just right for him. Wyatt Earp is yet another with a feasible chance at the weights but he has something to prove over a mile and be best watched in this company. Lygetton lad is already a multiple winner and is dropping to a favourable mark just now. However, he has struggled to get his head in front for the best part of a year and may need a little more assistance from the assessor before he becomes a solid betting proportion. King's Caprice is in good heart and appears ready for a crack at this trip. However, his knack of finding one more determined is a little frustrating and he is not for the feint hearted. Therefore, it can be more profitable to give Bahiano another chance, as he has consistently run well under big weights and is long overdue some further success. The booking of Kevin Darley is a big plus for his claims today.
