Verdict

Batchworth Blaise deserves to get his head back in front and gets the vote here over Corlough Mountain, Miracle Baby and Contented. Eric Wheeler's gelding has been in good form all year, of which he has raced ten times in total. That heavy workload doesn¿t appear to have taken its toll based on his recent second at Brighton and with the slight drop in trip not a problem, he looks sure to give punters a run for their money. Hollywood George and Binnion Bay need to bounce back from below-par efforts, whilst Only If I Laugh is one to keep an eye on in the betting despite being just out of the weights. Corlough Mountain ran well in third behind Patavium Prince recently at the track over six furlongs and should not be overlooked lightly, nor should King Zeal if the money comes for this expensive son of King's Best who looks to be on a good mark. Inquisitress and The Iron Giant both have claims on the pick of their form along with Goose Green; however it is Batchworth Blaise who gets the vote.
