Blue Savanna is given the narrow preference here with Mandoob and Tresor Secret the ones likely to give him the most to do. The selection is a course and distance winner and he confirmed his well-being with a decent effort at Windsor last time when not beaten far by Paradise Valley. With the in-form Ryan Moore in the plate he looks sure to go well. Mandoob was beaten by Tresor Secret here on the AW last time and there is no reason to suggest those placings will be reversed here, but Mandoob was slowly away that day and he is a quirky sort so he could go well if he is on a going day. Of the remainder, Coolfore Jade was well beaten in an amateur riders' race last time. He is certainly better than he showed on that day and it would be dangerous to dismiss him on a track where he has run well previously, but for the winner we return to Blue Savanna.
