In depth

Verdict

Aphrodisia is arguably the form pick but has had plenty of chances and therefore Flight Dream gets the nod to win at the fifth time of asking. Mick Quinlan's charge has the blinkers on for the first time in the hope of eking out some more improvement and with Jamie Jones able to claim a valuable five pounds, the five-year-old may get off the mark. He bumped into a decent one in Calculating last time and there doesn't appear to be such a danger in this field. The main danger is probably Aphrodisia who has been given a break since finishing second on his all-weather debut. That was a fair performance and now dropped back into maiden company he should run well. Niqaab has shown glimpses of ability in weak races, whilst the most promising newcomer could be Outlandish who has shown some ability in several bumper runs. He, along with the other horses coming across form the National Hunt scene need to be watched in the betting, however in an ordinary heat it is Flight Dream who is taken to score.
