Quality Street has hit form at the right time of this and gets the nod over Caustic Wit and Brandywell Boy. The last named is well weighted with the selection and will not make life easy. However, he was well held last time and, having looked to be in the grip of the assessor, he needs to prove his improved effort was not just a flash in the pan. Caustic Wit has remained in great heart all season and has really enjoyed this campaign. However, even though he won off a mark of 92 as a juvenile, he looks weighted to the hilt just now and needs a little luck on his side. Methaaly dropped a hint that he was on his way back when second at Yarmouth in May and is not without an each-way chance if he is ready to go after his short break.
