Verdict
Indiannie Star gets the vote in the opener with Perianth, Majestical and Edge Fund put forward as the main dangers. The selection hails from the Mick Channon yard and she showed enough promise on her debut when second behind Siena Gold at Newbury to make her the one to beat. Perianth is another with racecourse experience, and she may fare better here than she did on her debut at Windsor, as she will appreciate the faster ground. Majestical did not handle the track at Brighton last time so he could be capable of better, while Edge Fund has shown some promise on his two outings so far but he will probably appreciate slightly further in time. A market move for any of the newcomers could also be significant, but Indiannie Star sets a fair standard here and is given the vote.
