        Verdict

        ARCTIC LYNX raced well up with the pace and failed to produce his usual strong finish when a disappointing favourite over C&D last time. Ridden with more restraint here, John Best's sprinter is fancied to turn the tables on the front-running Norville. The latter also had Qadar and Waabel behind last month and looks sure to make another bold bid but could be taken on for the lead today by Vintage, who is not without claims himself. Billy Red could make the frame and is another to consider in a typically open sprint.
