Chevallier ended a frustrating run of placed efforts with a victory over track and trip last month but he’d earlier been beaten by Franco's Secret here and by CHESTER STREET (NAP) at Chelmsford in December. The latter was likely unsettled by his stall opening early at this venue last time and failed to run his race once recalled to the start so Roger Charlton’s charge gets another chance dropping down a grade for this. Constantino is usually thereabouts without winning and Haaf A Sixpence can figure back on the Polytrack after an outing at Southwell while Ice Royal and Presumido are closely matched with Franco's Secret on earlier running.
