Several of these have been threatening a return to winning ways and MAJOR MUSCARI (NAP) went close to doing so when beaten a short-head over track and trip a week ago. He’s closely matched with third-placed Zabdi on that form but an apprentice takes over the reins today and the latter’s 5lb allowance should give him the edge once again. Wink Oliver has a bit to find with the former pair on latest running but Cuban Queen was narrowly beaten at Kempton recently when well ahead of Welsh Inlet. Nasri went close over 6f at the same meeting but has not won over today’s trip since 2011.
