Pagan Quest, John Robie and Burhaan look to be the leading lights in this maiden and the confident vote is given to Pagan Quest. The selection ran well last time when a good second behind Lake Chini at Wolverhampton and with the step-up to 7f in his favour he sets the benchmark for the rest. John Robie is from a yard that merits plenty of respect in these type of events and he shaped well on his only previous try here when a staying-on fourth behind Postgraduate. He gave the impression that day that an extra furlong would suit so the step-up to 7f should also see him in a better light today. Burhaan is a colt from a top yard but he would need to improve to get competitive after a series of moderate efforts. Latin Express should prove best of the remainder but Pagan Quest looks the one to be on and is consequently put forward to lead them home.
