Sapienza gets the vote here with Night Crescendo and Bomber Command the pair taken to chase her home. The selection is a likeable filly who has only been narrowly beaten on both of her racecourse outings to date. She was a little slowly away last time at Ripon when second behind London Express and if she can break on terms today then she should take all the beating. Nigh Crescendo should give her plenty to think about as he holds a Derby entry and although that may be aiming too high, he ran with plenty of promise last time at Newbury when a close third behind Participation. The step-up to this trip should suit and he is respected. Bomber Command is another that will appreciate the slight step-up in trip and he improved for his debut effort when finishing third behind Blue Grouse here last time. He is proven on this surface so should be thereabouts at the finish. Impostor is an interesting newcomer from the James Fanshawe stable and is certainly one to note in the market, but we are happy to stick with Sapienza who looks the one to be with.
