First-time headgear can help MISTER NEW YORK to come home in front here, while Halsion Chancer and Sofia's Start can also go well. The selection races from a mark 4lb higher than his best win and he has been tried at other tracks since a course and distance success in November, without adding to his tally. Hayley Turner could hardly be riding with more confidence and in the hope that the blinkers can galvanise him we will side with Noel Chance's colt. Halsion Chancer has won off higher marks than this in the past and goes well at the track. His stamina won't come under as much scrutiny here as it has in his last two starts, but the fact remains that he has never won beyond 7f. Sofia's Start should remain competitive from this mark but does look in the grip of the assessor, while the same can be said of Just Bond, who has never won on any artificial surface away from Wolverhampton. Art Man wants further to be at his best, while Bee Stinger won on this card last year from 2lbs higher and money for him would be interesting. Even so we will take Mister New York to score.
