Jeremy Gask is making a name for himself and can have another winner here with CATALAN BAY, while Billy Red is an obvious danger. The selection makes his British debut here, and like his trainer, has made the move over from Australia. He contested some very valuable races over the last year without winning, but he has won over 6f, 7f and a mile Down Under and he clearly has ability. We will take him to defy a nine month absence and win when fresh. Billy Red caught the eye when winning over this trip at Great Leighs and has gone up 7lb as a result. He looks likely to play a big part here once more, though he has not won here in seven previous attempts. Leading Edge is back on a good mark now and has a clear chance of reversing Great Leighs form with Billy Red at today's weights, while Capefly is entitled to finish closer to that pair and Upstairs looks exposed. Catalan Bay is the one for us.
