Cayman Breeze gets just a narrow vote over the likes of Diamond Katie, Supreme Kiss, Double M and Diamond Josh. This apprentice affair to start the ball rolling is pretty uninspiring, and it is hoped that Cayman Breeze will prove up to the task on the strength of his past efforts on the all-weather. Milton Bradley's charge was only beaten two-lengths in a handicap at Brighton last month and a reproduction of that should see him go close again. Diamond Katie was successful off a mark of 66 at Sandown last year and is rated lower now, but she has never raced on an artificial surface before, so is perhaps best watched, while Supreme Kiss is one of just two three-year-olds in the line-up and is still a maiden. Double M in contrast has seen it all before, and in fact has won nine times here during his long career. Diamond Josh showed signs of a return to form when a close third in a Wolverhampton claimer nine days ago, so has to be considered, but in a moderate contest the vote goes to Cayman Breeze.
