Molem can gain another course-and-distance success, with Hollow Jo, Paradise Expected and Coalpark all seen as potential dangers. Molem has twice been successful over the track-and-trip this year, most recently 18 days ago when Lady Herries' charge got the better of Million Percent in a what turned into a thrilling battle after he had set out to make all. Joined and momentarily passed by his rival a furlong out, he responded well to Jamie Spencer's urgings to prevail. The equally brilliant Ryan Moore takes over now and the four-year-old can shrug off a rise to advertise his credentials as he is due to go the Horses In Training Sale soon. Hollow Jo gets weight off the selection and has won here before but returns from a mini-break, while Paradise Expected won a maiden here last January but bombed out badly on his return at Newmarket in July and has not been out since. Coalpark only beat one home at Wolverhampton after making most of the running, but is better than that and is capable of making the frame. She may take the selection on for the lead, but we expect Molem to have the most strength in the finish if it boils down to a battle and he is the pick.
