        Verdict

        Some in form animals contest the finale, Desperation and Gibraltar Bay are definitely two to consider, however we will take a chance on Detroit City. Jeremy Noseda has his string in fine form and this son of Kingmanbo is chasing a hat-trick following victories at the other all-weather tracks. He is open to plenty of improvement and looks the pick of the weights this afternoon. Desperation is trained by Karl Burke and following two victories by the shortest margin is also looking for a three timer. He hasn't risen much in the weights and has to be a big danger to all. Gibraltar Bay is also from a yard in good form and comes here after beating some decent types in a Wolverhampton handicap last time. He should go well on his first visit to this track. Mark Johnston's Indonesia may prove best of the others, but Detroit City may may still ahead of the handicapper and gets our vote.
