The unexposed SUMMER ROSE is taken to overcome a lengthy absence and score ahead of Russian Rocket and Fantasy Fighter in a very poor looking handicap sprint. Before taking a break of 203 days the selection made all to win a similar race over course and distance. Considering this one should be open to more improvement the three pound rise in her mark could be lenient and any market move in her favour would add to her claims. Russian Rocket was a winner of a fast ground Nottingham handicap over this trip last time and as a result his mark has suffered to the tune of five pounds. It was a cosy success so on it's own that rise might not stop him but the suggestion is he is better on turf than the polytrack with his successes on the artificial stuff coming in plating company. Fantasy Fighter is back down to a winnable rating so needs to enter the short-list while Excitable makes a polytrack debut after some solid efforts recently. It's not a race to get carried away with which help the chances of the selection Summer Rose.
