Tallawalla looks the clear pick of Mick Channon's two runners ahead of Cromwellian and she has claims being dropped in grade but a better bet in a competitive seller looks to be SASSANIAN, who is preferred to Lauberhorn. Eve Johnson Houghton's gelding is less exposed than most of these after just three starts and takes a big drop in class having been well held in a handicap at Windsor on his most recent start last month. Julia Feilden's Baggsy is another lightly raced runner dropping in class that has to be considered, while Stan Moore's Frameit has struggled in handicaps of late and may do better now dropped to a seller. Stan Moore's Mnarani disappointed back on turf at Pontefract last month and should appreciate the return to the Polytrack on which he clearly performs better on than turf. The vote though goes the way of Jane Chapple-Hyam's Sassanian, who has run to a consistent level of form in claimers in his last couple of starts and he may be worth siding with dropped further into a seller.
