This is quite an interesting three-year-old handicap, with our selection being Padlocked ahead of Tetouan and Rose Of Petra. Padlocked made all and showed a good racing attitude when scoring on his racecourse debut here. The extra furlong should suit and he can go well again. Tetouan rates as a big danger as he looked a well-handicapped horse when scoring at Leicester last time. Rose Of Petra and Safe Investment have so far suggested that they are three or four pounds above their optimum marks at present, while Free Offer did not show enough on her seasonal return to be given a strong shout. Paceman is another that needs to prove himself from his current rating, while Emulate found Listed company against her last time following a Kempton win. Finally, Kalasam has the scope to progress through the campaign and Valley Observer cannot be ruled out, being six pounds better off for the two-and-a-half lengths that he finished behind the selection at Kempton last time. The selection, though, is Padlocked.
