In depth

Verdict

Tiny Tim is turning into a bit of a nightmare to follow and so is passed over today in favour of Wodhill Be, Silver Island may do best of the remainder. Derek Morris's five-year-old has done all his recent racing at the two other all-weather venues, but does have form here in the past. She is in good heart at present as she proved when finishing a close up third behind Gem Bien at Southwell recently, and she looks the one to beat today. Many people have had their fingers burnt by Tiny Tim, but he does have ability. He finished well behind the selection last time, but had previously finished an excellent fourth behind Dundonald. A repeat of that effort should see him in the frame at least. Silver Island has claims on his running behind Ragasah in January, but has disappointed twice since. Meanwhile Primatech can also figure if reproducing her best form, however Wodhill Be is the current form horse and gets our vote.
