PRINCE CHARLEMAGNE is taken to reverse course and distance form with Purely By Chance with Coda Agency the most interesting of the remainder. Gary Moore's experienced campaigner has been in fine form this winter but is still competitive from his current mark as he showed when just over two lengths behind Purely By Chance here last time. He's 6lbs better off with Jeff Pearce's runner and reunited with George Baker who has a good record aboard the gelding who came home strongly last time having been held up a long way off a steady pace. Purely By Chance could struggle to confirm the form therefore but she is relatively unexposed and in fine form so has to be respected. Coda Agency has gone well fresh in the past so his absence isn't a concern, he's fairly treated and has winning form over course and distance whilst the booking of Jim Crowley bodes well as the pair have an excellent record together. Where's Susie and Isle De Maurice have each-way claims whilst Sahara Sunshine is one to keep an eye on in the market along with Lady Pilot and Mountain Forest who is bred to improve for this longer trip. Hughie Morrison's runner would be of particular interest if the market vibes were positive but we'll stick with Prince Charlemagne.
