chased leaders, ridden 2f out, challenged and carried right inside final furlong, ran on to lead post
held up, pushed along 2f out, never troubled leaders
led, pushed along over 2f out, headed over 1f out, no impression when hung right inside final furlong
took keen hold, held up in rear, ran on inside final furlong, nearest finish
tracked leader, came centre in straight, led over 1f out, edged right inside final furlong, headed post
slowly into stride, held up, never dangerous
raced wide in mid-division, driven along 2f out, effort on wide outside over 1f out, one pace when carried right inside final furlong
chased leaders, driven over 1f out, soon weakened
always behind
TAG TEAM is taken to land the opener at the main expense of Cheery Cat and Albero di Giuda. Trainer John Harris has his string in good form at present and Tag Team arrives here on the back of a couple of solid runs. He hasn't won for a while but he was only narrowly beaten by Jul's Lad at Southwell earlier in the month and a reproduction of that effort should make him tough to beat. Cheery Cat is another who was only narrowly beaten last time when he carried 1lb overweight and chased home Zeffirelli at Southwell. He finished clear of the remainder that day so the form looks solid enough and a big run is expected. Albero di Giuda has plenty of solid form in Italy and although he has yet to get his head in front in the UK, he could consequently be on a lenient mark at present. All You Need ran his best race for a while last time over this course and distance last week and he is on a fair mark at present so he is not without hope. However, the vote is given to Tag Team who can end his long run without a win.
