In depth

Verdict

ANDA DE GRISSAY scored over this trip at Fontwell before making a bold bid to defy a 7lb penalty over a slightly longer trip on heavy going at Exeter. She can get back to winning ways. Twenty Eight Guns makes her handicap debut and though she ran well on heavy going here last month she was beaten a long way at Fontwell a couple of weeks ago. It's exactly two years since Mini Muck was in superb form winning three times and she's only just started to come down the weights. She's performed with credit the last twice and can make her presence felt. Kentford Heiress was attempting to defy a massive 13lb rise for her victory at Newton Abbot when finishing first past the post on the same track but was disqualified for causing interference. To rub salt into the wound she's been handed another 6lb extra and she's never raced on ground anything like this testing. Dardanella is badly out of form and Strange Bird needs further.
