Plane Painter gets the narrow vote here over Count Ceprano and Jo'burg. The selection won well last month when getting the better of King's Apostle at Chester. He looks the type who will will improve with his racing and he holds solid claims. Count Ceprano has given the impression that he could be quite useful next season based on his two efforts so far. He caught the eye on his debut and then won well last time on this track. The extra furlong today should not be a problem and he should go well. Jo'burg is eased significantly in grade after being well beaten in a Group 2 contest at Goodwood last time. He has every chance of getting competitive back in this grade and is respected. Market Day is better than he showed last time and is another to consider, but for the winner we are happy to return to Plane Painter.
