Cree, One Way Ticket and Thoughts Of Stardom are three to concentrate on here with the tentative vote going to recent winner Cree. The selection has been a model of consistency this winter and although he is yet to race on today's surface, assuming he handles it okay he should be in with a very good shout. The able James Doyle negates the penalty for that last victory with his 3lb claim, and from his inside draw he should be able to hold a fairly decent pitch for a mount that needs plenty of cover. The main danger could come from One Way Ticket who has a far lower rating on the all weather than on turf, however he has yet to take advantage of that mark and looks vulnerable again especially as he is best over the minimum trip. Thoughts Of Stardom would be a very live danger if returning to his turf form of July, however he has looked out of love with the game on his last two starts and so cannot be truly fancied unless the market says otherwise. Of the rest, Mulberry Lad has won two of his last four starts, although they were poor contests and the rubbish efforts in-between make him a very risky betting proposition. Therefore, in what is a tricky finale, the tentative vote goes to Willie Muir's Cree.
