Party Boss showed progressive form on this surface earlier in the year and may appreciate the return to the Polytrack but has received little respite from the handicapper and a safer bet looks to be Red Romeo, who is preferred to Red Spell. The last mentioned stayed on well behind Border Music over course and distance last time, form on which he strictly holds King's Caprice, Chateau Nicol and Psychiatrist, and should be thereabouts again but may have to settle for a minor role. Russian Symphony was also second to Border Music on his most recent start but that was over six furlongs and he may do better back up in distance so cannot be discounted either. Marshman is proving to be expensive to follow, while Lygeton Lad has given little cause for optimism of late. The vote then goes to Red Romeo, who lost little in defeat when collared late home here over a mile last time and he is expected to be suited by the drop back in trip
