In depth

Verdict

Compton Classic is most effective over the minimum trip and with a fast pace likely that will play to his strengths here and he is our nomination. Sands Crooner is likely to start a short priced favourite and illustrated his current well being with a win at Wolverhampton on his most recent outing. It is a while since he raced off a mark as high as 74 but he should run his race and be thereabouts. Triskaidekaphobia is a 5f specialist, albeit moderate and appears to reserve his best for Wolverhampton. Compton Classic should get the race run to suit and is taken to upset the likely favourite.
