    In depth

    Verdict

Dansimar should prove hard to beat here if handling the heavy ground, Pentasilea is the obvious danger on the book with the remainder having shown precious little. The selection failed to win in seventeen starts on the Flat for Mick Channon but scored at the first attempt over hurdles when readily accounting for a fair sort in Equity Release at Wincanton. She never raced on ground with cut in it on the level but she is related to a couple of heavy ground winners so there is some hope on that score. Pentasilea showed bags of promise in chasing home The Grey Berry on her debut and went some way to fulfilling that when running away with a Plumpton maiden. The bare form leaves her with a bit to find with the selection but she had plenty in hand. She raced once on heavy ground on the Flat and didn't fare that well but it may not pay to read too much into that. It's nigh on impossible to make any sort of a case out for the remainder; an eye should be kept on the market just in case but Dansimar should prove hard to beat.
