Los Suenos showed just enough last time to earn a nominal vote; Laudamus, Lord Lescribaa, Massini Sunset and Opal Ridge are amongst others to consider. The selection was having just his second run over fences when finishing fourth at Hereford and may be able to find enough to be a factor in the finish of this contest. He's presumably not been straightforward as he was very well backed to win his latest start over hurdles back in December but failed to justify the support and was promptly sent chasing; on the plus side connections clearly feel that he has the ability to win a race. Opal Ridge chased home Cleymor House at Fontwell last time and the winner has gone on to win his next two starts but others make more appeal today. Massini Sunset was a disappointing favourite in that Fontwell contest but had won well in February and would be a threat to all if back on song. Laudamus was in the process of running a fair race on his chase bow at Kempton but has to prove himself none the worse for that fall and on the testing ground. Mount Benger unseated on his sole chase start although enters calculations on his hurdling form but supporters of Lord Lescribaa will be banking on the switch to chasing bringing about marked improvement. Leading Article and Flying Dick may also have something to offer in a trappy affair but we'll take a chance with Los Suenos.
