Verdict

This does not look to be the strongest of races and should go to Reseda, who is preferred to Vanilla Moon and Hilarious. The selection is no world-beater but the form of her Taunton win two starts ago is easily the best on offer and, while her subsequent defeat behind Billyvoddin was disappointing, the Ian Williams-trained mare is hard to oppose in this company. Dedrunknmunky looks to be one of the lesser lights in the stable of Nigel Twiston-Davies and of more interest may be Leicester third Hilarious, who was no better than plating class on the flat but already looks better over hurdles. The three newcomers make limited appeal with Nick Gifford's unraced St Vita probably the pick of them and a bigger threat may come from Vanilla Moon, who has run to a similar level of form in all three starts over hurdles so far. Reseda is the clear form pick though and is taken to give weight away all round.
