behind, ridden over 2f out and soon no chance
started slowly, in rear, headway on outer 3f out, soon ridden, not reach leaders, weakened 1f out
took keen hold, close up, chased winner 2f out, every chance over 1f out, not quicken inside final furlong
jinked right leaving stalls and unseated rider
tracked leader, slightly hampered by loose horse just over 2f out, no extra approaching final furlong
made all, pressed by runner-up over 1f out, stayed on well, ridden out
close up, lost place after 2f and dropped towards rear, ridden and weakened over 2f out
started very slowly and slightly hampered by unseated rider, in touch after 2f, good headway over 1f out, ran on to take 2nd final furlong, better for race
A tricky start to proceedings, with Innclassic selected to beat Ragged Jack and Get To The Point. Innclassic shaped well enough on her second outing over five furlongs here three weeks ago to warrant support. By Stravinsky, she is bred along similar lines to Madeleine¿s Dream, winner of the French 1,000 Guineas, and should appreciate the step back up in trip. Ragged Jack comes from a stable always worth following on the all-weather, and has also had a couple of runs already. Get The Point is the most experienced here, having had five tries without success. One of those efforts was a decent seventh to Milly Waters in the valuable Tattersalls Sales race at Newmarket, so he has been given every chance here. However, the filly Inclassic receives five pounds, and that might be enough for her to open her account under Steve Drowne.
