Cracking Rosie can add to his course and distance win, with Freak Occurrence, Bold Joe and Wizard Looking not without a chance. The latter seemed to appreciate the drop back in trip when tried over six furlongs at Pontefract, so it remains to be seen how he will cope with this mile journey. However, his stable are to be feared in these type of events, so he is not to be ruled out. Freak Occurrence travelled really well when ploughing through the softish conditions to score at Redcar, and a repeat of that effort will make Emma Lavelle¿s charge dangerous. Bold Joe ran his best race to date when second over a mile and a quarter at Brighton, but this drop back in trip might prove against him. That leaves Cracking Rosie who looks just the sort to follow after her course and distance win three weeks ago. Jeremy Noseda¿s filly coughed after her Haydock debut four months previously, and did well to overcome that absence when landing a maiden. It might not have been up to much, but the daughter of Alzao can only improve, and as she is entered for the December Sales, connections will be looking for another good effort on this, her nursery debut. She gets the vote under Dean Corby.
