Don Pietro and Mystic Art both have strong claims but the verdict goes to ZERO COOL, who has a few near misses against better rivals than face him here. Gary Moore's gelding has been running well of late in races of this type finishing in the prize money more often than not. His runners-up spot on his penultimate start looks strong form and has only really been beaten by rivals rated higher than today's opponents. Don Pietro will have to concede weight to the selection but the terms aren¿t that adverse. He also has been performing well in similar races and having taken a handicap off a mark of 68 in November he has to be respected. Mystic Art beat rival Gasat on his penultimate start and held his form well last time. The victory came over course and distance so he should be close. Gasat re-opposes Mystic Art on better terms so that form could go the other way and another to consider is Seven Sky who drops into this company for the first time. Typical Lingfield seller this with the vote going to Zero Cool.
