Grand Ideas is given the tentative vote in this wide open claimer, with Distant Country and Takes Tutu the main dangers. The selection did not get home last time but he had previously run a cracker over this course and distance when a good third behind Lakota Brave. If he can reproduce that effort here then he should go close. Distant Country ran his best race for some time when a close second behind Outer Hebrides over 7f at Wolverhampton. He was returning from a break that day so he should come on for the run, and although he hasn¿t won since 2003 his turn may not be far away. Takes Tutu is a consistent type who could go close if he gets the strong pace that he needs. However, he does have a habit of finding at least one too good and he is not one to place too much faith in. Del Mar Sunset is another who is capable of going well in this grade, but we will stick with Grand Ideas as our idea of the winner.
