An uninspiring maiden in which Ten-Cents sets the benchmark against Topiary Ted and Alsharq and we shall stick with the latter. Marcus Tregoning's charge had two mid-division efforts in better grade prior to this and if she has thrived over the winter, there doesn't look to be much in the way of opposition. Ten-Cents was seen staying on over nine furlongs at Wolverhampton. She has had plenty of chances thus far and doesn't appear capable of further improvement. Topiary Top was certainly not a cheap buy at the sales and connections have had to be patient. The market should serve as the best guide. Coeur Courageux was unfancied on his latest start over course-and-distance but he is with a trainer who knows how to place his horses wisely. Not a lot to go on at present but Alsharq may improve for the application of the blinds and she secures the most tentative of nods. Colony finished well behind in that race and does not look to be the star at Richard Hannon's yard.
