In depth

Verdict

A wide open contest here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Huckster, Snakebite and Tamreen and the tentative vote is given to Huckster. The selection won well last time out when beating Fuel Cell and off what looks a fair mark he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Snakebite rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Inaro, that form has since ben franked and he will not be far away but he is best when allowed to dominate and that does not look likely here. Tamreen is another worthy of respect as he hails from a yard in top form but he has given the impression in the past that he would be suited by a longer trip and he looks opposable on that basis. Dunsfold Duke would have a chance on his best form but he disappointed last time for no apparent reason and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Of the remainder Zipalong Lad won well last time out but this looks tougher and the horse he beat has since disappointed. This is a trappy affair and the market will be very informative but for the winner we return to Huckster.
