        Verdict

        Fangorn Forest is the pick to beat Bollywood, Twilight Avenger and Outlook, with Tafilah and Colmar Supreme noted in an open affair. Fangorn Forest has not progressed as hoped, having been placed in the Listed Hilary Needler Trophy last year before contesting Group races in the summer. However, just of late she has shown enough to suggest that she can win at this level at least, and with her second to Casablanca Minx being franked by the latter on Monday, hopes are high that she can gain a belated second career success. On a line through Casablanca Minx, she should easily hold Bollywood, while Twilight Avenger has less to do than when fourth in a handicap here 13 days ago, but has been beaten twice since. Outlook was sent off as favourite at Southwell last time but was outbattled inside the final furlong, and his best form has been at Wolverhampton anyway. He, Tafilah and Colmar Supreme all have it to do with the selection on various form lines as well, and Fangorn Forest has a great chance of collecting in this moderate company.
